Name: Minako Aino Birthday: October 22nd Eyes: Blue Hair: Blonde Height: 5’6 Likes: Playing pranks, chasing after idols, curry, video games, jokes, physical education, the colors yellow and red, idols, dancing, singing Dislikes: Her mother, police officers, math, English class, shiitake, show offs Strong Points: Minako is a natural born leader. She is always ready to take command, unless her queen says otherwise. She is incredibly intelligent and now that shes remembered most of her past life, very tactically savvy. She still mixes her idioms a bit due to the many languages she has studied. Has Trouble With: She has trouble with her mother and the law. She’s realized that police aren't very effective in her sojourn as Sailor V and her brand of vigilante justice still occasionally causes headaches. Dream: Minakos dream was to become an idol, she has since managed that, well beyond that.. Now her main dream is to protect her King and Queen and their family. It’s also to keep as many people, Senshi or not safe as commander of the Senshi High Command. In-depth Character Personality:(MINIMUM 3 Paragraphs)
Minako is insanely loyal to her princess, and to those she counts as friends. She has shown this several times throughout the series. She is also a character who knows there is a time to be fun, and a time to be serious . She’s competitive, friendly and can even be goofy when she’s with her friends, but when something goes wrong, she is a quick thinker and gets very serious. Minako is very intelligent, though her grades don’t show it. Like many borderline geniuses she has trouble doing busywork and concentrating on things that aren't’ important to her. School isn’t going to help her fight, though she admits it's important. No one will respect someone who didn’t graduate after all. Unlike Usagi, Minako is graceful and poised most of the time, unless she lets loose. Minako believes that some of Usagis clumsiness was because she was so much shorter in her reincarnation than as Serenity.
She’s driven, both in her pursuit of her dreams, and her determination to protect Usagi. Usagi is someone she truly believes is worth her loyalty and devotion. She had been as Serenity, and was even moreso now. Minako has and would again give up her life for her princess. She fought alone, and as Sailor Venus she had been the commander. The commander was alone giving orders, orders that could get her friends and the others she commanded killed...and Serenity and Usagi had both called her friend. Come to cheer her when she was stressed. Her loyalty to Serenity is absolute.
Minako is very emotionally resilient. She takes things as they come. This doesn’t mean they don’t hurt or effect her, it just means that she doesn’t collapse under pressure. This could be a remnant of her conditioning as Sailor Venus, or just a personality quirk, but she is the senshi least affected by the constant fighting, and the strain that has put them under.
She is truly a kind person. She takes heartbreak and remembers that the people involved are happy. As long as they’re happy she can deal with it. This is true in most aspects of her life, though that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get jealous. She just realizes that it’s a waste of effort.

Eleni was the only daughter of the goddess Aphrodite, and thus was the Princess of the planet Venus. She grew up with her loving and very protective brothers, Eros and Himeros. They had reason to be protective, as she grew it became obvious that she was born looking very much like the goddess of beauty herself. She was a happy child, very bright, but she could be unintentionally selfish at times. If called on it, however, she would fix things as best as she could. She was well loved by her people, their bright and shining star. Venus was one of the more interesting planets in the Silver Millenium. The people liked to keep busy and could be flighty at times, but it was beautiful place to live. Functionality was a mainstay, but the secondary import was beauty. The houses, even those of the lower class looked delicate and fairytale like, Aphrodite made sure that even the poor were well cared for, because love was the center of their society. Familial love, love for you neighbor, and of course, romantic love. Although Elenis siblings were protective, they couldn’t stand in her way for long, a healthy love life was considered lucky and Eleni certainly had that. Although several of the other planets gave Venusans the side eye and whispered about them behind their backs, they, as a society gave no shits. Love for one was just as valid as love for many. Aphrodite herself had several lovers, and that was another thing her daughter inherited. Eleni had a very large heart and sharing her body with the ones she had fully given that heart to was something she was never ashamed of, until she was called to the Palace for the first time as Sailor Venus. The tittering and the implications that she was useless except as a bedmate caused several fights and some tears. .
Eleni had been trained on her home planet in weapons, tactics and strategy, as she was Sailor Venus, slated to be the commander of the inner senshi guard, and the main protector of Princess Serenity. As their mothers had been closely related, it was no surprise that she looked enough like the princess to be her body double as well. Eleni had been brought to the palace to play with Serenity off and on while they were children, partially so the princess would have a friend, and partially so she could learn her habits and mannerisms...to keep her safe. Eleni was nothing if not practical. As practice she was instructed to take Serenitys place in several small galas, while the princess took hers. It was so easy sometimes the lines blurred and she could pretend that she was the princess of the moon without all of the responsibility on her shoulders, but it never lasted for long. Once the galas were over it was back home to drill...and drill. To be put into the dirt by her trainers over and over again. She was trained in the use of every weapon she could get her hands on, though she favored whips and her sword. As she got older and more skilled she ignored the judgement of the other planets. They were just different. She was assigned a while cat, Artemis of Mau as her advisor and liaison to the Moon. His quirky attitude was entertaining, and she liked him quite a bit.
Every year Eleni went to watch the boys go to her mothers temple for their star seeds to be inspected, hoping to become one of her knights. She met with the ones who were, and once they were trained, trained with them. They would have to train together to protect the kingdom. Sailor Libra was one of her favorite senshi, she didn’t get along with many of the others at first, though she tried her best to make friends. They soon learned that she knew what she was doing, despite her airheaded appearance, and eventually trusted her. All through this she watched one small boy come year after year. She felt for him, he seemed so hopeful. She almost gave herself away when he was finally chosen. Neon was a joy to watch, as clumsy as he was and she found him adorable. She didn’t speak to him much because of his training, and not too long after he was chosen all hell broke loose. A gala was being held at the palace, so most of the inner senshi were there when they struck, but they were too powerful. Beryl had subverted the Knights of Earth, and summoned up Demons and monsters, leading them along with Earths army to conquer the moon. The senshi fought hard, Venus among them. Her knights came to fight, even those who had not been fully trained. She was almost taken down when a flash of red hair blocked her vision, her youngest Knight taking the blow. She gritted her teeth, blinking away tears. He had barely been a teenager.
She watched friend after friend go down as her sword flashed and she spun, fighting like a madwoman to protect her friend, her double, the closest thing she had to another sister. Her sword was knocked from her hand, she was taken down as she heard a heartrending cry from behind her. She rolled to the side as she watched Serenity, the one she had been protecting, drop to her knees beside Endymions body. Her sword spun across the ground landing next to her princess, she almost screamed as the enemy converged on her, She had a flash of hope as Serenity lifted the sword, and then her stomach dropped as her princess lifted the sword, not in defense, but to join her prince. Minako surged to her feet, vision dancing with bloodloss as she fought tooth and nail to get to her princess, dropping near her as everything went dark.
Aino Minako grew up as a normal girl, slightly dorky, fashion conscious, super athletic and dreaming about boys, and in her more secret ones, occasionally other women. He lifes dream was to become a singer...or an actress...or a dancer… well why not all three! That is, until she met a strange white cat with a moon on its forehead who awakened her as Sailor Venus. He revealed that Earth and Venus were twin planets and that she had been the princess of Venus. She needed to find and protect the princess of the moon. That was her duty. They had no idea where to begin looking, so Minako decided that with great power came great responsibility and took up the mantle of a vigilante hero. To draw attention to her while they searched for the moon princess, she used her disguise ability to make her outfit colors different, following Artemis’s advice. He took it in stride and trained her as best as he could. Between the training and the fighting some of her skills returned, and several of her memories. She continued this trend of fighting when her parents moved her to London due to her fathers work. During their fights she became very close to Artemis, which helped quite a bit when her best friend and the man she loved got together after believing her dead. She never corrected them, she wanted them to be happy. After that she traveled all over the world, finally returning to Japan.
She was excited to find that she had become very popular in her homeland. A Sailor V Video game and manga were already household items, it was a guilty pleasure for her to play the arcade version at the Crown. Those pleasures were few and far between as with the growth of the dark kingdom she was getting even more desperate to find the moon princess. When she finally meets the other senshi, Artemis has told her that they have no memories of the past. She was disappointed and worried. Her princess is a clumsy friendly sitting duck. She needed to be a little harsh to get them up to par...So she continued her charade as Princess until Usagi is revealed to be the true princess. Once that happens she happily resumes her role as head of the inner senshi and strategist, though Usagi is all heart and things go ass end up several times. She relaxes a little once they’re together, enjoying her school life and sports, and continuing her search for a love life, and her dream to become an idol. Video games are great and all but she wanted to SING….to be Aino Minako up on stage and not just a super hero. She has trouble holding relationships because he main goal in life is to protect Usagi, and most people won’t accept being second. She fought with her friends, growing closer to them throughout several trials, their bond growing stronger, dying several times in the name of her princess.
In the years since the Galaxy Cauldron, and the beginnings of Crystal Tokyo, Minako has regained more of her memories, and trained alongside the other senshi. She has called upon the most brilliant minds of the world as many times as she can for tutoring, all in the name of protecting her princess. Alongside this she has finally attained idol status, holding concerts, benefit concerts and becoming the liaison for a television and anime series about the scouts, changing enough that it doesn’t give away anything tactical but still fairly accurate. She loves that there's merchandise of her and her friends, and has no problem giving autographs in her downtime.
As Crystal Tokyo started to take shape,Minako realized that they needed a central office. The senshi could no longer be vigilantes working out of their homes. This became even more imperative when new senshi and knights began to awaken. She decided to set up a central command to keep everyone in the loop, and with Ami's help, set up a database where they could keep track of them. Minako didn't like doing that, but it would help to know who to call for specific emergencies, and even partial knowledge of their powers could be useful if anyone ever turned on them. As the Command grew, she took over setting up training programs, and coordinating when dark forces attacked...even if said dark forces were normal humans who objected to the new regime. Of course they were dealt with as peacefully as possible, Usagi hadn't changed that much. Venus wasn't above keeping certain things silent to protect her princess though. The outers and she were there for a reason and were far more practical.
As memories returned and magic and technology began to work as one, the first vestiges of communications with former allied powers of the moon kingdom also fell under her jurisdiction. Planets outside of their solar system, Senshi of stars long forgotten, and the search for more allies led her communications, and ambassadors far from home. She and the other senshi, as well as the new senshi under her command began exploring the planets of the former moon Kingdom, ready to make an attempt to return them to their former glory. Surely there was a way to heal them of the deadness resulting from Saturns final attack... some planets were already starting to show base signs of life. If they could hurry that along, the Moon Kingdom could someday return.
But now the concerts have stopped, her secretary is taking care of the pop culture side and she's trying to figure out where she went wrong. She had created the High Command to protect Crystal Tokyo and her Princess...now Queen, but she had missed something. Had she been too busy building up the realm to notice something happening? Usagi, her light, her princess and the one she was sworn to protect is missing and she needs to find out how, and how to get her back. She’s failed her duty and is leading the search.
Minako felt sick. She was supposed to be Usagis protector, her right hand, her stand in in dangerous situations and she had failed. There had been no warning. Her computer flashed from screen to screen as she looked through the evidence the senshi had gathered, searching for something to give her a place to start. She and the others had combed the planet, and now they were starting on the other planets. She had no idea where to look if her princess had been taken to a different dimension. She was almost sure the Dark Legion had something to do with this, as they had appeared right after Usagi and Mamorus disappearance She shook her head. Something didn't add up though. She couldn't put her finger on it. If the Dark Legion had taken her wouldn't they be crowing about it? Instead they just sent wave after wave of Siphons, unless they were trying to get the crystal from her. She hoped Rei found something scrying in the fires. The longer Serenity was missing the more likely something devestating had happened. She didn't want to think of her Princess dead. They had all sacrificed too much for it to happen like this, without even a fight.
She typed up a quick message to Rei asking if she'd tried to read the flames. She knew she'd asked the same thing yesterday, but she had done everything she could, and it was one more thing she could do to say she was doing something. She checked the findings for the fiftieth time that day but saw nothing. Artemis had told her to take a break and look at things with fresh eyes later, Maybe it was finally time to take that advice. She stood from her desk and stretched, working the kinks out of her back from being crouched over the computer for too long.
