You come to consciousness on the Silent Queen, but you can’t remember how you got to this point. You can’t remember much of anything, in fact. Your head is twisting with fog, and you feel doped, though both the amnesia and the sluggishness will wear off over the next few hours. You'll find that any weapons you carried prior to awakening are gone, same goes for cellphones, tablets, computers; any electronic device that connects you to your world. There are two things on your person that weren’t there before, however: a ticket and a numbered keycard.
You don’t know why you’re here, but there are others just like you, confused and alone. There’s mystery here, aboard the Silent Queen. Danger, too. Might even be that death is in the cards for a few unfortunates. But you’ve got nowhere else to go — the ocean isn’t going save you.
