Likes: alone time, the genuine kindness of others, foxes, hot cinnamon buns
Dislikes: too many people around her, prying into her personal life, higher authority, being suspected of anything other than her own intentions, recklessness, seafood
Strong Points: A strong personality, with a hardened strength to match. Being befriended means protection within her own power.
Has Trouble With: Looks down coldly on wide eyed optimists, flinches at the concept of great affection. Incredibly hard headed in her own decisions
Dream: To learn to take control of her Comet’s power, breaking her bond to it. She wants nothing more to destroy the comet itself, but is sound and mindful at the cost it would take.
In-depth Character Personality: Ophelia is a bitter and silent soul, but by no means does she consider herself any sort of evil. Wayfaring within the bounds of the solar system has proven demanding for the veteran Senshi, a once warm heart icing over to a firm wall to protect herself. Once, she had been a bright and optimistic soul like most Senshi and those with their own potential around them, eager to spread her (metaphorical) wings of protection across her own Solar System to help those who need any form of aid. Bound to the power of a traveling Comet, modernly known as Halley’s Comet, her power is brought to several courts across the solar system, particularly close to the planets of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
Her powers come strictly from the energy of Halley’s Comet, keeping herself close to it becoming imperitive to survival. For a short time at least once a century, she is permitted to step within the bounds of Earth, spending little time there. She used to eagerly await such an adventure, now finding it to be filled with a sort of dread. She reserves herself to whatever duties may bring her to earth, finding certain enthusiasm in leaving it’s atmosphere very quickly. Her grimace tends to deepen within the jurisdiction of Crystal Tokyo, seeming very unkind if not ill intentioned to unknowing passerby, though she makes an effort to shield this from the Royals. Her attempts are in vain, and usually done as a sign of moderate respect at this point.
Once befriended, though a rare occasion, the perilous wall can be broken, small amounts of emotion seeping out over time. Beneath the icy surface, her enthusiasm and happiness remains, though much smaller than it was toward the beginning of her life. Cynicism never fades, but she is happy to fake optimism honestly for those she loves, trying to reassure them and herself within this new crisis there is hope to be had. Her emotions are rattled very easily, and she is completely unafraid to belittle or be blunt to newer Senshi or anyone in her presence for the matter. It has become her sole belief that they are all destined to fall, but she intends to burn out in fulfilment rather than accept her fate.

About the Soldier/Knight
Realm of Influence: Solar System (Path of the Halley Comet)
Attack 1: Crystalline Cry – By blowing into her closed hands, Sailor Halley can begin to form a jagged sphere of ice around a small amount of gas. As the sphere grows, it’s pointed edges become more apparent, until about half of the Senshi’s size. After a few moments, she can throw the solidified orb toward a singular or group of enemies. Upon closing in on its target, the gas within the blast will shatter with a sharp piercing sound, reminiscent of a sharp cry, sending the frozen shards into enemies. This power is mildly controlled, though to this day she seems to struggle if not entirely focused on the attack.
Mission: Sailor Halley’s mission, implied to have been thrust upon her rather than chosen, is to protect her Comet, thus sustaining and protecting her power. Her ultimate goal seems to oppose this, as her true desire is to be rid of the Comet and duty all together, seeking to find a power to bind her to the planet Earth. This allows an alarming amount of darkness into herself, though she tries to dust that fact away.
History
Long ago in the grasp of space, as the planets of the Solar System had settled, the remnants of their creation had since begun to float in space. As they moved, they began to travel, grasped within the pull of the Solar system, either being crushed or growing stronger as it’s own entity. This was the birth of the Comets; this is how they Comet that came to be known as Halley too was formed. Though not as glamorous or strong as the Planets, they were shown equal importance in the creation of the Kingdoms, used as paths between the distanced planets, a balance in the calming of celestial chaos. Like the Planets, Comets showing great importance, shown to survive, were bestowed their own Guardians. It was then that Halley, before then known only as the Earth’s Comet, was given it’s Guardian. Blessed with Star Seed of the Planets that formed it, Sailor Halley was knighted to travel the Cosmos, to bring a sense of stability within the System as much as the Planets did.
The doe-eyed Scout, despite being alone for most of her first travels was more than over joyed in her wanderings. Traveling between the atmospheres of planets gave her oppetunity to experience much not even seen by the Royal Family, giving herself a sense of pride. Though younger at the start, she was able to handle her task with a fair amount of maturity, especially when setting foot in a different Kingdom of her Comet’s path. After sevenity-five years, the astrial orb’s travel would bring her back to Earth, giving her a breath of familiar air and time to keep in contact with the Moon Kingdom. In this time of rest, she took interest in improving her skill of ice skating, though she would gently brag to anyone who would listen it was much more enjoyable on the Comet.
As she matured, she returned to Earths’ atmosphere once more before the collapse of the Silver Millennium, to take leisure in her activities following her assistance to the Moon Kingdom. It was in this Kingdom that she met a young woman around her age, a red headed civilian woman named Amaya in possession of a young fox cub. Growing fond of the young lady’s presence, she greatly delayed her departure from the Moons’, choosing instead to leave her ice skates behind to follow this new interest to more leisurely matters. All thought and time during her stay, much more intended to be spent there, became consumed with this maiden much to the dismay or the Royal Family and those around her. This led to the disintegrating of her innocent nature.
Rejecting to preform her duties once, Sailor Halley was sent back to her Comet shortly, to continue her servitude toward the other planets. While seeming to comply at first, she briefly returned to her normal duty to the first planet. Yet as time went on, she could not bare to be away from Earth any longer, abandoning her Comet to return proclaiming her true love to Amaya of the Moon Kingdom. Though gallant the effort had been, this was feared to greatly disrupt the flow of the Comet, thus putting the System into a brief state of worry. The final retribution was made; her Senshi power was bound unremittingly to the Comet itself, only releasing the soldier when it was her true time to return to Earth. Until then, she was to be connected to the Comet itself. This began her strained view of the Moon Kingdom, though mentally putting the System as a whole at blame. Her heart broken, she vowed to return to Earth and reclaim Amaya, continuing her duties to avoid any more penalties against either of them.
Time around her had other plans, unforeseen as they may have been. She never believed for one moment she would never see Amaya, the cub, or even the Kingdom for that matter again. Returning at her pre-determined time left her with only a momentary amount of elation; she had returned to Earth to find the destruction of the Silver Millennium had passed, all was gone as destroyed. Far from within the reaches of most planets, she first grew bitter to the fact she had not even become a passing glance to the destruction around her; that is, until all thought shifted focus to Amaya. Learning of the destruction upon the Moon Kingdom and the chaos following after, she quickly fell into darkness as all hope was lost. She returned to her Comet to wallow in grief and internal turmoil…
With the rise of Crystal Tokyo, murmurs of a remaining Guardian have rippled, brushed to be anything more than a tale of the previous Silver Millennium. The Royal Family and their Guardians knew much better; above as the Comet streamed past the Earth, mournful and icy eyes would glance over it’s surface, continuing its’ relentless duty to the Solar System. Then why only now, has the frozen steps of the wandering Senshi come to the tender surface of the Earth..
Roleplay Sample
“You do not understand.. Do you?”
The words left her pale lips, inert and cold as the surface around her feet. Her glance turned slightly to the younger Senshi behind her; though young in a passing glance, her eyes could give away the time, the unbarring amounts of pain within her forlorn gaze. Though she was tremendously aware of her surroundings and those around her, it did not stop the thought in anyone’s mind that she was miles away at any moment, encased within a dream woven somewhere in the dust of the Comet, within her own mindscape. The Wanderer turned her body to face them more clearly, arms limp helplessly by her sides as she studied their face closely. She almost finds something within them she finds familiar about herself, but the thought is quickly disposed of before it has any chance to reach a cord of emotion within her form.
“The Moon Kingdom does not care for us.. for planets, for the Stars..” Her voice is firm, solidified by the truth she feels in her words, “ We were born to simply burn out, to follow blindly and do as we are told. I refuse to burn out for them..” Her voice finally betrays emotion, shaken with subdued amounts of anger. Her gloves tighten in her fist, dreamy gaze pulled back to the here and now.
“I will not stand with those unable to protect what I loved, that never gave me the chance to save it, I will not let myself be betrayed again.”
There is hesitation as the noise of the icy wind around her begins to fill the gaps of their momentary silence, returning to her mysterious dream like stare, the emotion leaving her voice as if never even present.
“And I hope that you will always remember this moment.. because someday, you will see all of this through my eyes.”
