Sailor Nemesis

Rina Leonhart was born to Queen Starrina the First of the planet Nemesis. Queen Starrina was a noble and just queen but she was haunted by the accidental death of her husband King Alexxander shortly after Rina's conception. During her pregnancy she was haunted by horrible visions of her daughter's death and her planet's destruction. She couldn't make any sense of the visions. After Rina's birth the visions went away, but the queen noticed that even as an infant Rina had some powerful gifts. The older that Rina became, the stronger she became in the ways of controlling Light and Dark.

This wasn't unusual for the royalty of Nemesis. Even Queen Starrina had influence of Light. It worried her though. She felt that Rina might become a beacon to the evil that would kill her one day. The Queen became downright terrified when she started having visions again when Rina turned 16. It was the same visions she had had during her pregnancy. Rina's death at the hand of some dark force. Except this time Rina wore the guard of Sailor Nemesis. The supposed guardian of the planet. This would have been Rina's birthright when she was 16, but the queen withheld it because she feared Rina's powers and how they would bring about her end. Becoming Sailor Nemesis would only bring about this fate sooner. 

She became so frightened that she decided to hide Rina away on the far side of the planet. There was a comfortable house where Rina would be put asleep and lay dormant until Queen Starrina could find a way to ensure that she would not be harmed. Before she left her daughter she asked her most trusted servant to watch over her. She left in the servant's protection not only her daughter, but the Nemesis Star Seed which would allow Rina to one day transform into Sailor Nemesis. This would be a day when no evil would overpower Rina. 

Years passed. Queen Starrina grew older, while her daughter still was dormant. The queen hadn't found a solution for her child. She was still haunted by visions and the poor woman was nearing the edges of psychosis. Her only thought was to protect her daughter. However Starrina had nearly given up. In the years since Rina's sleep had begun many tragedies had befallen the Universe. Dark forces had more than once tried to destroy the neighboring Moon Kingdom. The only reason that Nemesis hadn't been targeted was become Queen Starrina had used her powers of Light to keep Nemesis and Rina hidden from the evil forces. Keeping the planet hidden for such a long amount of time drained her powers and ultimately her life. Queen Starrina died in her sleep, all of her powers gone. Her last breath had been speaking a spell that erased her hidden daughter from the planet's collective memory. Rina was forgotten. The planet and its people grieved their Queen. 

With no one to rule, the planet soon fell into chaos. With the queen no longer shielding the planet it became visible. Battles broke out for control of the throne, food and fresh water became scarce. Even the planet seemed to be giving up. Rivers were drying up and the soil was becoming toxic. Absolute chaos. Within a year of the Queen's Death nearly everyone on the planet was dead. Those who managed to survive the first year, wouldn't make it another six months. 

Nemesis was just a dead rock floating through space. 

That is what Neo Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom saw when she was looking for a place to imprison the evil Wiseman and his minions. She banished them there to a prison, never to be seen again. Or so she hoped. She knew not to underestimate Wiseman and his abilities.

Rina was beginning to wake up. Her mother's spell was wearing off and the Nemesis Star Seed was also beckoning Rina to take up her post. Something that should no be on Nemesis was on Nemesis. Naturally, when Rina woke up all the way she was very confused. She woke up alone, her mother's servant long dead and gone. Luckily the servant had left a journal for Rina detailing everything that had happened up until her death. Rina was stunned. Empty. She felt dead inside. Everyone she ever knew was gone. Her mother was gone. There was no one on Nemesis. No one at all. Except the Black Moon Clan. Rina would soon find that out.

The longer Rina was awake, the more Rina was drawn to the Nemesis Star Seed. She knew what it was and what it did. She knew it would be better for her not to accept it, but she knew she couldn't withstand it forever. One lonely day she gave in and put on the choker that contained the Star Seed. The moment she transformed her head cleared and she felt strong. Stronger than she had felt in a long time. Her body seemed to know just what to do and how to move and she felt transcendent. She was born to be Sailor Nemesis. 

Rina trained everyday in her little cottage. Training for what, she didn't know, but she trained anyway because it made her feel whole again. Unbeknownst to her Wiseman was on the other side gathering his soldiers and planning to wreak havoc on the Moon Kingdom. 

By the protection of the Nemesis Star Seed Wiseman was never aware of Rina and Rina was never aware of him. The only time she was made aware his presence was when he fused with her dear planet and used it against the Moon Kingdom. She wasn't sure what exactly was happening, but since the Star Seed was connected to the planet and she was connected to the Star Seed she could feel every attack that Wiseman sent off and every attack that he suffered in return. Her body was wracked with pain for hours and hours. She finally had  sweet release when Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon cast Double Moon Princess Halation. It rid the planet of Wiseman and gave Rina a reprieve from the torture. 

After the battle the Nemesis Star Seed could sense the other Planetary Star Seeds and sent out a beacon of sorts. The Senshi went to explore it before they left the planet for good and on the other side of the barren wasteland they found a comatose Sailor Nemesis. The Star Seed had transformed Rina to keep her protected from anything that might have hurt her during the earlier onslaught. The Senshi recocgzied that this girl was some sort of guardian and so they took her back with them to Earth and nursed her back to health.

From that moment forward Rina always felt like she owed Usagi and the rest of the girls a debt that she felt she would never be able to pay in full. Eventually (after everyone could fully trust her) she was allowed to become one of the fold. And there she stayed for years and years becoming one with the new Silver Millennium with Neo Queen Serenity ruling over Crystal Tokyo. Sailor Nemesis would dedicate her life to both the kingdom and the Queen.
