Name: Azzy Age: 30 How I learned about this site: Third Character Contact info: PM, Discord
Name: Tesni “Tess” Sorenson Birthday: September 22nd Eyes: Light Blue almost white Hair: Brown Height: 5’10” Likes: Pork bowls, dancing, ballet, a very strong drink, sunbathing, honest people Dislikes: Darkness, liars, horrible tasting alcohol, persistent people Strong Points: Extreme physical resilience, sharp tongue Has Trouble With: Darkness (phobia), deception, trusting others, sharing burdens Dream: To return to her realm to its original state, In-depth Character Personality:
-A shy, yet confident individual who rarely let's much get to her, Tesni gives off an air of absolute resiliency in both mind and body. On the surface it is what she wants everyone to believe.
-Deep down, Tesni is suffering and has been shouldering that suffering for countless years, refusing to share it with anyone. Believing she can endure it all without help, the Soldier of Life has a tough time letting people into her life as friends or anything more. Even her human family lost touch with who she was after the first thirteen years. Tesni knows this isn't healthy about her life, but her stubborn pride keeps her from seeking help.
-Despite the pain, Tesni is known for vicious and often demoralizing rhetoric in combat. From the corniest insults to the most personal mudslings, she will bite into your ears if given the chance when she is angry. It is a quality most like to avoid to be on the receiving end of though, Tesni does try to hold back in the presence of innocent or undeserving ears.
-Tesni is not a strong physical attacker, preferring to be a supporter to those who fight. She is not a pacifist, but rather not skilled in being able to strike out, unless it involves purification. However, she is aware of the sheer amount of abuse and pain her body can go through, and it is not uncommon for Tesni to use herself as a shield to protect others. She makes for a very strong defender. Contrary to popular opinion, Tesni is not a masochist and takes no pleasure in using herself as a meat shield, yet if it gets the job done, a few whacks from a hammer isn't so bad.
-One consistent truth about Tesni, is that she is terrified of the dark, believing it is in the shadows where what remains of her sister and the evils of the past still linger on. She always has some form of lantern with her when traveling at night, just to keep the darkness away. Even a small source of light around her is enough to keep the panic attacks at bay.
Furthermore, Tesni has this subconscious fear of being alone, yet paradoxically she often acts alone, not as an unwilling team player, but more so with her inability to trust others easily. It took her years to accept the other Senshi as allies after all. Tesni has been betrayed twice to her death, and has no intention of letting it happen a third time.

Name Sailor Sol // Queen Sol Realm of Influence: Life and Purification Transformation Phrase: Solar Crisis Make-Up! Colors:White and Gold Items: Senshi Communication Network Device, Reforged White Crystal of Sol, transformation ring
Powers: Tesni for the most part has the strength of an ordinary human when not transformed, however she possesses a monstrous amount of physical stamina, able to endure pain, and offset fatigue, for considerably longer than most. This is due to her crystal being directly fueled by the vast energy of the Sun. She is able to trade some of this massive reserve to heal minor injuries and help accelerate another's healing process. Tesni’s powers will strengthen as she regains them, however more and more energy will be required. Tesni has limited photokinesis that comes out as a healing white light that is incapable of harm. All of these traits strengthen when she is transformed.
The White Crystal also strengthens Tesni’s life force to a degree which she is able slowly regenerate from fatal wounds so long as the Crystal has some luminosity left. If the White Crystal has lost its light completely and Tesni dies, she will never come back, and the Crystal will have to find a new host. It takes a tremendous amount of light to return, so Tesni takes care to preserve herself, and only make the ultimate sacrifice if there is no other way. If the Crystal shatters when Tesni dies, it may take months, years, decades, or even centuries for her to return as the Crystal has to put itself back together first. Being bound to the White Crystal means becoming one with it. Those bound to the White Crystal in a crude sense are the White Crystal. At this time, Tesni has no intention of unbinding herself from the White Crystal. That could change once her royal line starts again with a restored realm, if that happens.
Attack 1: Breeze of Plenty: The first step in regaining the lost final skill of purification is the Breeze of Plenty. Sailor Sol performs a graceful turn while announcing this skill and raising her hands. A warm updraft suddenly begins in the area spiraling around whomever Sol chooses. Minor scratches and bruises are suddenly healed away from those chosen, and they feel some of their stamina return to them. Corrupted creatures find some of their strength sapped away if they are chosen, but they are not directly harmed. As with all Senshi attacks it can be used for versatility and can be focused for a greater effect.
Mission: To forever protect and serve the Royal Family of the Moon. To forever pursue and preserve the force of Life. To purify the corrupted energies of the cosmos.
Personal to Tesni are as follows. To return the Solar Realm to its purest glory and to regain the full light of the White Crystal becoming Queen Sol once more.
Ages ago there was a small kingdom that inhabited a bright and powerful realm contained within the Sun of our solar system. This kingdom known as Solas or The Solar Kingdom was a self contained realm governed by two rulers at all times who shared a mighty power.
Fueled by the near incomprehensible power of the Sun, and forged from a young star itself, the royal family of Solas was blessed with an incredible artifact called the White Crystal of Sol, sometimes called the Crystal of Purification, or the Starseed of Life. While not as powerful as some other artifacts in the cosmos, like the Silver Crystal, the White Crystal had a dedicated set of tasks to those who possessed it. Keep the energy of the universe pure, nurture life where it flourishes, and stop those who seek to end life.
Different from the Silver Crystal, the White Crystal could be used by anyone after their soul was ritualistically bound to it, making them one with its power. It does not require a specific bloodline to wield its maximum strength, one only needs to be bound to it. Likewise the Crystal could be unbound in a similar fashion and was often used when transferring royal authority to the next generation.
The Solar Kingdom possessed two rulers at all times who each shared half of the White Crystal’s power as to avoid it being potentially abused and to avoid the crystal purifying its host to where their conscious existence was no more. The latter has since been disproved.
Two princesses were born before the dawning of the Silver Millennium, one who possessed the namesake of the realm and the other was less spoken of. Sol was the older of the two, but both of them were exceptionally gifted with the cosmic arts and were considered eligible candidates to be the next heirs to the Solar Throne.
-The White Crystal was never supposed to pass to a single individual. Both Sol and her sister were to be stewards of the vast purifying power. Something happened during the ritual while the two were ascending to the throne as co-rulers and the crystal bound the entirety of itself to Sol. Seeing as only those who possessed the White Crystal could rule the Solar realm, Sol became the only monarch suitable for it, giving the kingdom a single ruler for the first and only time. Queen Sol.
-Sol’s sister managed to find her way to power, but it was within a blackened sun spot that was not pure enough to stand equal to the Queen, thus having her ascension denied a second time. In this place Sol’s sister found a new voice speaking to her, the voice of Chaos. Chaos warped the festering envy and wrath that was building in the princess who could not ascend and it assimilated her into a wholly new entity whom all would call a queen without equal. The demonic entity known as Queen Materia.
Sol was unaware of what her sister had become for several years, and during that time, Materia continually built her power, bided her time and waited for the right moment to strike out. Also, during this time an even more powerful force in the Solar System would become known to the realm of the Sun.
Queen Serenity approached Queen Sol with an offer to have the Solar Kingdom be annexed into the Moon Kingdom’s imperial sphere, and while there was hesitation on Sol’s part, she could not argue against the vast reach of Serenity’s influence and the Moon Kingdom's incredible power. Her people would be safe and the Solar Kingdom would gain strong allies and access to far reaching knowledge they did not have. She welcomed the Silver Millennium with open arms.
It was a grand occasion. Queen Sol bent her knee in front of Queen Serenity for the entire empire to see, swearing an oath of fealty to the Moon Kingdom that she and her family, as well as their descendents will forever protect and serve the Royal Family of the Moon. Sol kept her crown and realm, traditions remained uninterrupted, and not a single drop of blood was shed save for a single paper cut when documents were being signed. Not all were pleased however.
Queen Materia, having grown into the monster she is now known to be, took her first move in corrupting the Sorceress, Beryl and started her bid to take over both the Solar Kingdom and the entire Moon Kingdom empire. There would be no equal and no peace anywhere. Only Sol stood in her way as one of two people who she knew could stop her at this time, and Sol had no idea that her sister was a traitor.
In a surprise attack, Beryl entered the Solar Kingdom with the dark army, rushing for the palace and crushing the unprepared solar forces. No call for aid could reach beyond the realm, and Sol was left to fight alone. Seeing the corruption in their eyes, Sol attempted to use the White Crystal to purify the entire dark army in one blow. She was not quick enough. Queen Sol could sense an even worse presence next to her, and turned around to face the demon that was once her sister.
Without hesitation, and at point blank range, Materia turned the full might of Chaos loose on Sol in one incomprehensible blast that shattered the White Crystal, obliterated the Queen, and laid waste to the entire Solar Realm. To this day the realm is still considered a dead wasteland from this one terrifying event. With Sol gone, only Queen Serenity would be able to stop the Sun Demon, Materia.
The White Crystal was not destroyed by Materia, but the shards were scattered to the cosmos by the blast, far from where any could find them useful, however the crystal still could resonate with its pieces and the soul bound to it. It began to put itself back together.
All of the shards of the White Crystal found themselves converging into a single space within the realm of Ophiuchus, a lesser known constellation realm that had already been ravaged away and the star seed significant to it had been taken. A dead realm.
The White Crystal reforged itself and reformed Queen Sol in the process. Alone in a dead realm and with the last memory she had being that of her sister unleashing death upon her, Sol could only do one thing. Scream. She screamed her pain and anguish out so loudly that it resonated across the galaxy. A star within its death throes suddenly surged with power from Sol’s suffering.
Kepler's Supernova of 1604, the largest supernova ever seen and observed by the naked eye was a result from Sol overcharging the star without reservation, though she never felt concern when the devastating blast occurred believing that she was the last living being in existence for a time.
This lonely feeling persisted, but Sol would soon realize she was not anywhere near her home realm and after a short while she left the constellation realm in a direction that went further away from home rather than closer. The pure light of the White Crystal had faded considerably to the point where it was more or less an ornate starseed rather than a powerful artifact of purification and life. It was terrifying yet comforting at the same time to know that no one else could recognize the White Crystal other than herself, especially when she crossed paths with the next entity she encountered.
Sailor Galaxia, the Soldier of Solitude, was the first person that Sol came across and the two conversed for a time at the Galaxy Cauldron, where the Queen had ended up. Sol had come to learn from Galaxia that worlds were still alive, they were not the last in the universe, and about Chaos, whom Sol realized she was familiar with from her sister. However she did not know Galaxia’s true intentions until she revealed them.
Sol used the dimmed White Crystal, which Galaxia correctly misidentified as a typical starseed, to transform into Sailor Sol for the first time in order to defend herself against Galaxia, but her defense was pitiful at best. Galaxia won against Sol, and the Queen was silenced once again. It wouldn't be until Sailor Moon released all the power at the Galaxy Cauldron that the White Crystal would be set free to bring Sol back.
The White Crystal found itself in pieces again, but this time the pieces landed on Earth, all of them. The great artifact set to putting itself back together, and reformed almost entirely save for the one piece that contained its spiritual vessel.
A girl was born to a Scandinavian family when Sailor Moon achieved her greatest victory. This girl would inherit the last piece of the White Crystal. She was initially pronounced as a stillbirth, a shell of a body, till the piece of the crystal resonated within, breathing life into the newborn. Her name was Tesni Sorenson.
Sol would forget who she was during this return to childhood innocence, but that still did not mean the crystal was lost to her. Her focus was growing up on Earth, becoming an accomplished dancer and gymnast by the age of six
Tesni found the remaining pieces of the White Crystal during a field trip to a natural cave, however. To everyone it looked like a clouded quartz, but the girl knew there was something more to it than that. Tesni snuck the crystal out of the caves, and quietly took it home placing it within a bright spot in her room.
The pieces of the White Crystal slowly began to regain some of the lost light it once had by basking in the rays of the sun. Tesni would notice she was becoming stronger, and her dreams were plagued with visions of a past she had forgotten was hers.
At the age of twelve, Tesni had noticed how much of a shimmer her quartz had gained, and on June twenty-first, she touched it, causing a beautiful radiance to envelop her and the White Crystal became whole again. Tesni’s memories returned in a flash of white and gold, and Sailor Sol was reborn. The queen had awoken, though she did not feel strong enough to call herself Queen Sol just yet, likewise she was also terrified of being found out
Tesni set to work throughout her region, acting incognito for the most part as a protector and healer, acting as an unknown entity. This unfortunately caught the attention of the other Sailor Senshi, who could tell someone new had become active.
Given her encounter with Galaxia and understanding of betrayal, Tesni hid herself as best as she could when the other Senshi would appear to investigate the activity and hopefully find her. She did not trust anyone who called themselves a Sailor Senshi due to all the past trauma, and it would take time for Tesni to accept them.
Sailor Mars finally cornered Tesni three years later after she performed at a dance competition. Mars had figured out that this fifteen year old dancer was the mystery Senshi that they had been tracking this whole time and became the first to extend an offer to rejoin the ranks. Tesni refused out of fear initially, but Mars eventually convinced her that the Sailor Senshi were not out to hurt her. It would still take a solid four years, when she went to an international gymnastics championship in Tokyo, for Tesni to finally approach the Senshi High Command.
After the coronation of Neo Queen Serenity, there was a formal occasion for the guardians of the cosmos to reaffirm their vows and oaths to the royal family of the Moon, and Tesni had accepted her role by this point as part of a greater team than herself. She bent her knee to the daughter of the silver haired Queen whom she had sworn an oath to ages ago. It was here Tesni received an unexpected resurgence of form and power.
For but a few short moments, the entire gathering saw the purest radiance of the White Crystal as Tesni suddenly transformed into her true form as Queen Sol in full royal regalia and dress kneeling before Neo Queen Serenity. It was said that the royal hall was filled with the most comforting warmth and light that had ever been witnessed, until it faded away as quickly as it came.
The sudden use of power caused Tesni to fall into a two day coma once it faded, something that still embarrasses her even in the present. In fact, the whole experience she found embarrassing, having no idea what triggered such a resurgence as she knew the White Crystal did not have that kind of power back just yet.
When Tesni awoke she was face to face with Neo Queen Serenity who had come to recognize her from the past, and she tasked the Guardian of Life with three personal missions. Find her realm, restore it, and revive her true powers. Tesni agreed to her queen’s command.
For quite the long period of time during the peace, Tesni worked at a tireless pace to find the gateway to the Solar Realm, which, despite being her true home, proved to be exceptionally difficult. It was not until Helios, of the Solar Realm himself though a chosen protector of Earth, stumbled upon a white key within Elysion that Tesni had a real chance at returning.
Gifted the key by Pegasus, Tesni unlocked a gateway to the Solar Realm, ending up in the dead ruins of Solas. It was a terrible homecoming.
Solas was barren and scorched black, still wreaking of the betrayal by Queen Materia, and Tesni had dominion over this. The tears were bitter, but she knew if anyone could fix the realm, it would be its sovereign. The White Crystal blazed with a powerful radiance in its home realm, and Tesni set to work in purifying the dead energy, helping to give life a chance where it once flourished. The process is still going on to this day.
When not acting towards the benefit of her realm, given the extensive damage it had received, Tesni has standing residences in both Stockholme and Crystal Tokyo. She currently teaches ballet and modern dance in two studios that she owns with three other partners. These studios are among the few places where Tesni can feel like she can let her guard down and just be. It is also possible to find her in the ruins of the Solar Kingdom as well, not when she is purifying, but simply enjoying peace and quiet in the endless warmth and comfort of the sun.
Given what she knew of the Silver Crystal, Tesni attempted to ask for aid from Neo Queen Serenity when she felt that conditions could warrant an acceleration of the process to restore the realm, but that was when she found out that the Queen and King had disappeared.
Taking her oath seriously, and able to uphold it for the first time, without taking a metaphorical axe to the back Tesni set to work on the mission given to her from the Senshi High Command. Find their majesties and return them safely to Crystal Tokyo
She had leapt from rooftop to rooftop, sliding down and around crystalline walls in order to finally arrive as rescue for her allies. They weren't necessarily friends, but they were in trouble, facing a monster that proved to be exceptionally resilient, perhaps the most resilient entity on the field until Sailor Sol arrived.
They saw a flash of white and gold as she arrived in time to leap on the creature’s back, wrapping her arms around its neck. She knew she wasn't strong enough to snap the monster into a state of paralysis, but it was enough to get it to forget about the four other guardians that were trapped in its tendrils.
“Come on you fat ugly coward,” Tesni hissed in the creature’s ear, or what was its ear, taunting it. “So scared to really fight you have to pick on young girls? Can’t handle a woman?“
Unceremoniously letting go, and freeing, the four, the monster turned its full attention to the guardian on its back. The Soldier of Life kicked off the back of its shadowy head, further insulting it, and landed a short distance away. Without skipping a beat, Tesni turned, raising her hands, letting the light of the White Crystal shine faintly from within.
A warm current of air began rising in the area, spiraling around the four guardians she had rescued and the monster that was now attacking her. It may have been a strong creature, but it certainly was not all that intelligent.
Sailor Sol reached out as the tendrils rushed her from the monster’s arms. Her white gloved hands and arms willingly caught its constricting attack, as well as her legs, in order to keep her body from being affected. Without breaking her concentration on the warm current Tesni taunted again.
“is this it, freak?” She goaded it on with a sneer, trying to sound as mocking as possible. “Seaweed, seaweed hurts more than this, come on put some effort into the fight at least,”
Tesni knew she wasn't using her best insults, actually they felt pretty tame and corny to her, yet the monster was reacting as if she had insulted its mother. It pulled outwards, forcibly stretching her left and right. She kept her hands open, so as to focus on the air current, which the monster did not realize was sending its strength slowly away, into the atmosphere. Her mouth stayed shut, not letting another sound escape her lips nor break her concentration as she went beyond the human limitations of flexibility. Tesni hid whatever pain was beginning to build through a smirking expression that said ‘is that all you got?’ continuing her relentless antagonism of her foe.
Just when she was beginning to reach what she deemed as the limit for today, Sailor Sol suddenly found her legs and arms snapping back to their original positions as the creature went limp. So far caught up in dealing with the soldier in white and gold, it had forgotten about the four whom had recovered behind it. A sword and several gaping holes had emerged from its torso followed by the monster crumbling into a pile of dust.
Tesni saw that her mission was complete and she turned and ran off while the four were celebrating their victory, her legs carrying her far from their line of sight. There was no point in making casual conversation, her mission was done. That was all that she needed to do, show up, deflect the enemy’s attention onto herself, and then leave once it was silenced. The Soldier of Life had ensured that life was protected and that was enough.
Tesni couldn’t bring herself to stick around, it was a guilty feeling now that she looked at it. She wanted to be with that team, be a part, but, could she? Could she trust them that much? The Soldier of Life shook her head, and ran away faster till she was at a point where she knew they couldn’t follow. The ribbons of her outfit left her, revealing the street clothes of an ordinary citizen of Crystal Tokyo.
“I am not ready,” She spoke quietly to herself. “I am not ready?”
