Name: Tris Age: 30 How I learned about this site: From a friend/fellow member Contact info: Tristantulaine@gmail.com
Name: Acheron Faramund
Birthday: December 12th (He chose this himself so he would have a day to eat cake)
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dark Brown
Height: 5'7”
Likes: Cake, Philosophy, Music, and Sailor Pluto. Also the idea of Ice Cream.
Dislikes: Prince Endymion's faithless knights, Large crowds, Closed minds, Boys who pay to much attention to Pluto, and Sticky things that get stuck to his fingers. Gum is the worst.
Strong Points: Acheron is very self sufficient. He doesn't require anyone else to do his job and can usually figure out what needs doing before anyone asks. Years of isolation have given him the often underestimated strength to be alone. He isn't afraid of his own company. Not even if it is all he has for decades.
Has Trouble With: Forgiveness, seeing the death of so many and often being approached by spirits in pain he has found it difficult to let go of the hurt of betrayal. He also is not very good at communicating with others as he tends to be a bit on the strange side.
Dream: His current dream is to help Sailor Pluto reestablish herself. He also wants to visit Earth and eat Earth treats. They seem very interesting. Ice cream in particular.
In-depth Character Personality:
Despite what many must think of a man who sees the spirits of the dead, Acheron is a very friendly person. He is also very strange. Not only is he woefully archaic, having never died, he has had many years with no one but himself and his mistress for company. It is hard sometimes to see the humor in his jokes, but it is there. Sometimes buried fairly deep.
Fiercely overprotective, he has a tendency to amuse himself by staring down people who he thinks are trouble. It is very unnerving for a man who knows how to stay absolutely still for hours on end to unblinkingly meet your eye. He also has difficulty forgiving those who cause death and pain to others. While he has never outright attacked anyone he would find it difficult to walk away from a fight involving the murder of innocents if he was ever in one.
He is also a skilled musician, playing the flute to both entertain and protect. Music is in everything, he believes, even if the song isn't always pretty.

Long ago, when he was truly young, Acheron awoke a power sleeping within him. He doesn't exactly remember how it happened. Perhaps it was a whisper in the night, or flicker out of the corner of his eye. Whatever it was, he soon found he could see the spirits of the dead, see them and speak with them.
Brought the the attention of Queen Serenity his destiny as a Guardian was forged. The day that Pluto was brought to the palace the seed of power within him awoke and he was recognized for who he was, the Guardian Knight of Sailor Pluto. They met one another that very day.
While Sailor Pluto was to guard the Time Gates and prevent any from traveling through them, he was to help her and guard her against all who would try to sway her to abandon her post. Queen Serenity knew that many, especially those whose lives had ended, would try to manipulate young Pluto. Not everyone would use force and no small few would try to call upon her pity. It was Charon's duty to protect her from those who would try such tactics as much as those who would use force.
They took up their lonely vigil together, he guarding the approaches to the gate as she guarded the gate itself. At times he would come to sit with her and they would talk. He came to care for her very much during these times and viewed her as a sister as well as a charge. He was at her side the day the Moon Kingdom fell and they helped one another through their grief.
For he had seen the deaths of all of those lost in that far off battle. Seen them and seen the knights who had betrayed those they were sworn to protect. The rage he felt towards these faithless men was absolute. He found it difficult to forgive and would speak of this often with Pluto.
Isolation and a morbid view of the world caused him to develop a quirky sense of humor. He often attempted to dull the boredom of guardianship with strange rituals and bizarre conversation. “How many cats would fit into a quasar? If a teapot were to shoot bricks of coal would they land in a circle or a square?” Such nonsense has made socialization with anyone other then Pluto very interesting.
Acheron learned long ago that the whims of fate are impossible to predict. That is why he wasn't the slightest bit surprised when Princess Serenity was reborn on earth. Nor was he surprised that the conflict from so long ago echoed across time to tumble into their lives once more.
What he did not expect was for Pluto to disappear. Left in her place to guard the Time Gates he was shocked to feel a sudden emptiness where she had always been. Terribly afraid that something had happened he reached out to look for her among the dead and found nothing. For years he sat at his lonely post, confused and hurt that his best friend would disappear and leave him without a word.
All that changed when, watching the far of adventures of the Sailor Scouts and their Princess, his gaze fell on a girl...no young woman named Setsuna Meioh. Joy like he had never known filled him with the knowledge that his dear Sailor Pluto was alive on Earth. She was a happier person, more carefree and he watched over her from afar, hoping that one day she would remember everything.
Fate in her infinite capriciousness caused him to intervene. Setsuna Meioh was attacked by a Tellun plant, part of the attack of the Witches 5. Fearing for her safety he called out to her across time and space, begging her to remember who she was and awaken to her self. She did.
Acheron is thrilled to have his best friend back, though he isn't entirely sure how to behave around her anymore. She isn't exactly the Pluto he remembers. He is also terribly afraid to lose her again, this has caused him to be slightly over protective and nosy. But he trusts that his Sailor Pluto remembers their time together and knows how much he cares. For now he waits at the Time Gate for someone to relieve him of his task or for Pluto to visit but soon he hopes to make a trip to Earth for ice cream.
He was leaving the gate itself and heading back towards his post when he felt the first death. It crashed over him in an icy wave and drove him to his knees. Another and then another followed as the knights he had met long ago before coming to this place, the young women who he would watch in the orb that Pluto possessed fell in defense of the Moon Kingdom. Hatred had brought their enemies there, hatred and twisted loyalty.
He could see those who had once been true, watched them do horrific things by the will of one who was now their master. Pluto! She knew them, she would see if she looked in the Garnet Orb. He had to stop her.
He raced back to the Gates, watching for nothing but the fall of emerald hair and flash of silver that was his mistress. It was too late he saw, she was watching, she had seen.
Dizziness overcame him as the Princess' life flitted away, severed from the mortal plane by her own hand. His lady stared at the orb as it flashed, ringing out across the void. “Oh please no.” she whispered as the tears fell and he came to her, silently, unwilling to intrude on her grief.
“Charon?” She called for him and he went, taking her hand in his own and letting the silence that descended on the universe surround them.
