In-depth Character Personality:
Not everything is dreadful about Amaya, but it’s pretty close and hidden to herself. Wretched by her life before the rebirth, with the regaining of her past memories, she developed a very deep hatred for the monarchs of the Moon Kingdom. Offered a place in the darkness, Amaya was more than willing to turn her heart away from expected loyalty to join Vexus within the Dark Legion.
With new powers awakened, she has begun to carry her darkness across the Galaxies, destroying those meek enough in her way. She is a cold force, unmoved by mercy or weakness. Though not the strongest in Vexus’ forces, her presence is enough to draw a second thought into most who encounter her. She holds herself like almost that of a princess, one would not be too far off to assume such a thing. While of no royalty, she was once trained by the best. Though this new life has not been nearly as luxurious as the last, she has known most of the worlds’ comforts until this recent change. Though as strong as her chilling attitude and poise may appear, she will never be complete with a hole inside of her heart.
Few have ever seen the kindness of the former Earth maiden, though it comes and goes. As fast as a fading star, hope can almost be seen in her eyes at the sight of cosmic light against the sky, the icy tails of the Comets fleeing across space. A short-lived moment, she will snap back into attention as quickly as it came, a superior though intelligent assertiveness returning. Her moment will come, in time; she has been no fool, she has seen the frozen tail of a comet return toward Earth, she knows where her true prize lies.

Amaya was born the intelligent and promising daughter of an Earthern family, working closely (though not among) the Royal family. She was loved dearly by her family, cherished most of all by her father. As an only child, she enjoyed a lavish lifestyle, though it didn’t rot her spoiled by any means. She was incredibly humble, working hard to place a smile on the face of those she met, and especially on those she loved. Summer season proved to be her favorite, taking small strolls among the trees away from the city. It was on one of these walks that she discovered a new love for Earth’s nature.
She had always adored the animals of Earth, though she never got to see them all too much within the city. On a walk one afternoon, huddled beneath the safety of a short tree was the form of a very small orange colored ball of fur. Upon closer examination, it turned out to be a small kit. Immediately smitten with the creature, she returned to her home to nurse the small animal. In turn, the animal fell in love with her swiftly, he was pair-bonded with his owner for life and faithfully bounded after her wherever she would go. While this occasionally caused a slight bit of disarray, it was seen as amusing by those around her.
As she grew into a teenager, she would keep closer to the city with whispers of a rising tension of an outside force, as much as no one would understand the amount of this threat within time. Inside the Halls of the Crystal Palace, she met a younger, lesser known Senshi, the Guardian of Halley’s Comet. Amused instantly by the enthusiasm and excitable nature of this new girl, they bonded within a few conversations. Knowing her time was limited on Earth by her duties, she spent as much time behind the Senshi as often as possible, waiting for her after her duties within the Palace, and following her down into the more private boarders of the city. Over this short time, an attachment far beyond their original friendship, blossoming into the full swing of a romance. Their fling continued to the end of the Senshi’s Ophelias’ stay on Earth, painful feelings rising when it was time for her departure.
The younger maiden made every attempt she could to plead with the Queen and her council to allow Halley’s Guardian to stay on Earth. She was quickly dismissed, forced to watch a piece of her heart arise to the Heavens to serve the family once more. For a short amount of time in her life, she fell into a mild depression, watching the night sky in incredible amounts of pain. This was both short lived and only the beginning. One night, the frozen tail of the Comet returned to Earth, her treasured love returning to her arms without any regard to her role toward the universe. Immediately, their romance was cut short; the Comets’ return did not go unnoticed. During an argument with her superiors, the Sailor Senshi Halley proclaimed her deepest and truest love for Amaya, refusing to return to the Comet with all her power, falling just short of a physical battle. Due to this sudden and futile revolt against the Monarchy, she was sentenced to be bound to the Comet, only released by the power of the Royals. In this new betrayal, Amaya swore an undying hatred at the people who had taken what she loved from her, fleeing the scene. There was barely time to consider withdrawing these feeling, as quite soon after, the Silver Millennium perished, taking Amaya, her kit and those she had once loved away with it.
Reborn into the modern world, Amaya was once again born in a well to-do family. While never as close to the Royals as she had once been, she upheld her bright and enthusiastic views of life for most of her life. Yet, it was never the same at first; there was a gaping space within her heart she could never quite identify, an unimaginable pain once again with tears she never truly cried rolling off her face. With the disappearance of the Queen and King, her memories of her life long ago had finally returned, though there was no jubilation to be had. Darkness and hatred filled her soul, despising what had been built around her. There was not a world she wanted to live in without the love of her life, she refused to let it down this time. Knowing only the Royals or a greater power could ever have even a fraction of enough strength to break the binds of Halley’s Comet. Refusing to work with the Kingdom, or even hinting she had returned to her old memories, she waited patiently for the power she knew would arrive. With the appearance of the Dark Legion, Amaya had realized the moment to seize her chance had come and she swore her allegiance to Vexus with the promise that she would be given the power to get what she wants. Blessed with the power of the dark Mirror, she has begun her search for a greater power to provide to Vexus, awaiting her own prize in return. Her eyes never leave the streams of the Comets across the sky as they travel to distant galaxies, gently petting the small violet incubator by her bedside, knowing one day her true powers will come to light, with her beloved at her side and the power given to her by the Legion, she can only smile watching as the shining gem that is Crystal Tokyo crumbles beneath the darkness.
