Name: Tris Age: 30 How I learned about this site: From a friend/fellow member Contact info: Tristantulaine@gmail.com
Name: Isaiah Aras
Birthday: January 20th
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Pale Blonde
Height: 6' 1”
Likes: Reading and Sports. He is especially fond of track and field events and has won medals for throwing javelin. He also appreciates a well made cup of coffee, preferably drunk with friends in a cafe somewhere while socializing. He is very fond of cats, also penguins because to be fair, who doesn't love a penguin. Nice birds penguins...flightless.
Dislikes: Large birds, planes, anything flying over head. He has a fear of something swooping down and grabbing him...or maybe landing on his head. He isn't really sure which. He also can't stand to have wet hair. He is the guy who brings a hair dryer to the gym to dry his hair after swimming.
Strong Points: He makes a mean cup of coffee, also not bad with a martini shaker. He is in great physical shape, fast and good with a spear or one of his throwing knives and good with animals.
Has Trouble With: Socialization, he can be a bit shy and seem unapproachable. He has also been known to kill aloe plants with his terrible black thumb. This is a source of frustration for him as he would love to be able to garden.
Dream: He secretly dreams of becoming a vet, or a cat behaviorist, he hasn't exactly made up his mind.
In-depth Character Personality:
Isaiah is quite and soft spoken young man with a dreamy sort of air about him. He spent most of his younger days, at least in this life, reading. He was well on his way to bookishness when he discovered his affinity with sports. As much as he enjoys sitting in a comfy chair with a cup of coffee and a well loved paperback, he loves the thrill of pushing his body to its limit, particularly where agility and accuracy are key.
While his reserved nature can make it difficult for him to make friends, he is fiercely loyal to those he has. He has vague nightmares at times of something horrible happening to someone he loved deeply. In his dreams he always fails to protect her and it breaks him up inside. To keep something like that from ever happening to him... now? again? He isn't sure...he has become the mother hen to his inner circle, watching over them from the sidelines and always there with a tissue and a cup of coffee when they need it.
He isn't just protective of his human friends. He once found a kitten stuck in a drainpipe and brought her home. Astra, as he named her, is now considered a member of his family. Aside from his “kid” he looks after a colony of feral cats that live nearby.
As a child a bird once landed on his head and got stuck in his hair leading to his fear of birds. He isn't so much worried about the little ones, or domestic birds, as he is the larger raptors. Seeing one in the sky is a good way to spike his nerves or send him scurrying for cover. Large planes or kites passing over head also make him jumpy.

Ethon Aras was born long ago on the hollow moon of Ganymede. The largest of Jupiter's satellites, it was an important region for the royal family. Ethon, however, still felt like he was trapped in a backwater far away from the important things being done at Io castle. It was always a dream of his to visit.
When he was twelve he finally got his chance. But not in a way that he expected. Something, something very odd, began to happen to him. The usually active boy was suddenly unable to stay awake or alert and his parents feared he was ill and took him to the best doctors and hospitals which happened to be near the castle.
It was there that he happened to come to the attention of the royal family and was brought before their daughter Princess Jupiter. The solar seed inside of him that had been trying to emerge suddenly did so in an explosion of light and warmth. His parents proudly left him with the princess and returned home. He, in turn, began his training.
Princess Jupiter was on her way to the Moon city to be a guardian for Princess Serenity and Ethon was determined to work just as hard as she did to be able to face the task together. Their mutual determination and love of exercise helped them bond over the friendly competition that developed between them, and Ethon was happy to soon be the confidant and closest protector of his princess. He was always at her side with a cup of water during a particularly grueling training session or with a tissue when she needed one.
When the Moon city was attacked Ganymede was at Jupiter's side. She chose to rush to Princess Serenity, as he knew she would, and he followed along dutifully. He had no overwhelming loyalty to the Moon princess, but he knew she was important to Jupiter. He had always been proud of her devotion to her charge and he meant to help her now.
He failed. Distracted while trying to protect Jupiter from a pair of swordsman who were attacking her from opposite sides, he failed to see the blow coming from above and was struck down and immobilized by a shattered neck vertebra. He was conscious long enough to watch as Jupiter was killed at her Princess' side, loyal to the last.
***
Isaiah Aras was born in Tokyo to immigrants from the United States. The lone, foreign, blond kid in his school growing up made him feel different and he withdrew as much as he could into the shadows. The few friends he did have he was protective of and they teased him that he was the group “mom”. He didn't mind, it made more sense to be prepared then to be the one running around looking for something. Even if that was how he secretly felt all the time.
Something was missing from his life. The need to protect and serve was sometimes almost unbearable. He discovered sports and the exertion he had there helped him to alleviate some of the pressure. But it was never enough.
In his last year of school he got a job as a barista in a little coffee shop near the hip bakery Batter Up. One day the coffee shop ran out of cakes and his boss sent him next door to buy a new one from the bakery. The first time he saw the owner of the bakery his life changed. Suddenly he could remember things from long ago in a another world as he trained at her side so that she could protect...someone.
That is where things are still shaky for him. He has giant tracts of his memories that don't seem to want to cooperate. He has nightmares about a battle he can't fully remember when he wakes up the next day and gaps in his time spent with Jupiter that he is sure are important.
Thankfully things between them are wonderfully familiar. Once again they are training together, friendly competition is the norm and he was learning more and more about her responsibilities to Queen Serenity. That is until the King and Queen disappeared.
He traveled with her looking for looking for the missing royals, unable to help her as more then a friendly shoulder to lean on, they returned to the city to find their powers are weakening.
Isaiah doesn't care as much as some about the powers, after all he is fast and strong with out them. He is more concerned with finding out what happened to the royal couple as their daughter assumes the throne. If it happened once, after all, it could happen again and Isaiah doesn't want to fail to protect those he has sworn to serve. Not in this lifetime.
Flashes of light sear the back of his eyelids as he struggles forward towards her... the woman in green and pink. She is moving too quickly again. In her haste to reach the man and woman she is leaving him behind. He growls in frustration and thrusts aside the flashing blade of yet another of the overwhelming force of attackers.
The ground beneath his feet is heaving as if it means to expel them all and send them floating off into space, attackers and defenders alike. He goes down. It is only for a moment but she is further away now, a retreating dot, racing the others to the young woman's side. Always a race, she is always trying to be first. This time the stakes are real and he fears for her.
Has the ground turned to sand? He is being pulled down, fighting as his legs are caught and tangled. He must get to her! She is in as much danger as the girl she seeks to protect. Her size and skill will not saver her...not this time.
He sees the blow coming from the traitor who once served a king. He screams to her, warns her, but it is to late. Red blooms against the green of her gown and she is sinking, falling down and away from him and he can only scream, scream as he tries to find her name.
He wakes on the floor, the sheets tangled around his legs and he muffles his screams into his pillow in frustration. Astra is there though, she doesn't judge him for his failure. Scooping her up in his arms he lets himself drift off again, the soothing rumble of her purr against his chest an anchor to the hear and now.
