Name:Tristan Ashton Birthday:2/24 Eyes:blue Hair: sandy brown Height:6' Likes: music, reading, Star Wars, cats, and computers Dislikes:horror movies, hot and spicy foods, bullies Strong Points:is practically fearless Has Trouble With:A recurring nightmare where he dies. Dream:To find Pandora's Box, a possible mythical talisman. In-depth Character Personality:(MINIMUM 3 Paragraphs) Fearless, loyal, and devoted. Those were personality traits that Dexan had, back when he lived, during the Silver Millennium. Those traits carried over to Tristan, as the reincarnation of Dexan. Some said he was staid, but Dexan called it being sober, being raised to rule his world. Tristan, on the other hand, comes across as free.
Tristan is not one to anger easily. However, when one does manage to trigger his temper, they had better watch out. He will go looking for a fight when mad, and it is not easy to get him to back down. Once the worst of his anger is past, Tristan will seek solitude, sometimes taking off on long walks.
Curious and with an insatiable desire to explore, Tristan loves to travel and to read. He enjoys new experiences, and that includes food. It's a good thing that he's not shy, though he can (and will) withdraw into himself as needed, when situations around him get rocky. Though there has been those who have claimed that Tristan's wanderlust is due to him trying to fill a hole within him, and not knowing for what he searches.

Attack 1:Backlash- the attack ability reflects the power attack of the enemy, throwing their own power back at them. Pandora brings his arms up in front of him, his hands together. He brings his arms back to the right, like he is swinging a baseball bat, and then on over to his left. He swings back to in front of himself, releasing his hands and a blast of purplish energy. Backlash can reflect back psionic and pure magical attacks, but not weaponized magical attacks. If the attack focuses through a weapon, he can't backlash it. He also can't backlash things like bullets, or real world lasers.
Mission: Before he awakens as Pandora Knight, Tristan's mission is to find out why he keeps having a reoccurring nightmare where he dies after being run through with a glaive. After he awakens as Pandora Knight, Tristan's mission is to assist Sailor Saturn, once they manage to reconcile.
In the days of the Silver Millennium, Pandora Knight's life started off relatively simple, if being a Prince could be considered simple. His parents named him Dexan, and raised him to be kind and loyal to his subjects, but a strong and fierce warrior towards their enemies. He was fifteen when his destiny was revealed.
The Starseed of Sailor Saturn started to awake within its bearer, Princess Lua of Saturn, in response to an incursion from outside the solar system. She was visiting a sick young woman, who happened to live on the satellite Pandora, when she was caught up in an attack. Lua was wounded, and transformed into Sailor Saturn. She attacked, taking down both friend and foe. When she finally collapsed, unable to withstand that power that she contained, it was right in front of Dexan. He never flinched from her, instead, he went to Lua's aid. He was caring for her when Queen Serenity arrived. When Lua was taken to the Moon Kingdom, Dexan went with her.
During his time at the Moon Kingdom, Dexan was given additional training with the other Knights and the Sailor Senshi. He needed to be able to protect Princess Lua, and to make certain that Sailor Saturn would remain asleep. Queen Serenity tasked him to be Lua's guard and companion. To help with that assignment, she created a Talisman to assist him with his new duties-Pandora's Box. When Dexan asked Queen Serenity why she had chosen him out of all the Knights that looked to Saturn, he was informed that it was due to the fact that he did not flinch away from Sailor Saturn, and instead went to her aid. (He also developed a crush on Sailor Mercury, even though he knew that nothing would come of it.)
When Lua returned home, Dexan as Pandora Knight, went with her. He became her constant companion, only away from her side when there was no choice in the matter. When he noticed others flinching away from Lua, when they could not outright avoid her. Dexan did all that he could to keep her company. He would read to her, or play games. Occasionally, he would even sing to her, having a beautiful singing voice. Most of all, he would defend her. Pandora Knight had no problem issuing challenges and calling out those who would insult and bully the Saturnian Princess. He would also go into battle on her behalf if someone tried to call her out. Dexan loved Lua, seeing her as a younger sister and his best friend.
The end of the Moon Kingdom and the Silver MIllennium was heartbreaking for Pandora Knight. He stood firm at his post, even as he felt the deaths of the other Knights that protected Lua. When it became obvious that the Dark Kingdom had won, he started preparing for battle. A single tear coursed down the right cheek of Dexan's face, knowing that he was all that now stood between Beryl and her minions and the destructive power of Sailor Saturn. Pandora felt Queen Serenity's power flare, and wondered briefly what would happen to him and Lua. A spike of power surged forth from the Box, pulling Dexan's attention away from what was going on. Sailor Saturn was awakening again, and he needed to stop her. However, it was too late. As Pandora started to turn towards the girl he was expecting to be Lua, Sailor Saturn's Silence Glaive ran him through. His eyes locked on hers, even as he bled out. Dexan watched as Pandora's Box fell from his grasp, even as he noticed a single tear tracking it's way down Sailor Saturn's face, just before he died.

Tristan Ashton is American, born in Rocky Mount, Virginia. His father worked for the local NBC affiliate in nearby Roanoke, while his mother worked in Blacksburg, teaching music at Virginia Tech. Due to his father's interests, Tristan grew up watching late 20th/early 21st century science fiction like Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, and his favorite- Star Wars. He also grew up traveling the world during school breaks. The one place he did not get to go to, though, was Japan. And it was the one place he wanted to go to. One of the reasons that Tristan wanted to go to Japan, was due to the innovations made in computer technology that originated there. He also wanted to see the various museums.
When he was fifteen, Tristan discovered that he had the ability to create a visual illusion by just thinking about it. He was on his way home from school, hoping to avoid the one bully that tended to target him. However, it seemed that there would be no avoiding the bully. There was no place to hide, except for a gully that had nothing to conceal him. Tristan sighed, even as he decided to try hiding in the gully. He would rather fight back, but his parents had told him that morning that he needed to look presentable that evening, due to important company coming from the university to visit. Doing his best to remain still, Tristan watched as the bully approached the gully. Tristan would have sworn that the older boy was looking straight at him. But the bully let out a growl, and moved on. Tristan started climbing out of the gully when he spotted two of his friends approach. They both came to a stop in front of him, wondering where he was. Tristan greeted them, causing both of them to jump, startled. One of them wanted to know where he had come from, and was disbelieving when Tristan informed her that he had been there for a while. This assertation, along with the bully's reaction got Tristan to thinking.
That evening, after company had gone, Tristan retreated to his bedroom and started trying to discover what it was that he had done. He also had his first nightmare that night. It would occur every year after that, on that day.
The next several years went by quickly, with Tristan learning how to control his power, along with getting through the rest of high school. He graduated in the top fourth of his class, and went on to attend Virginia Tech, majoring in computer graphics, with an end goal of doing special effects CGI. After completing college, Tristan decided to take some time off, and do some traveling.
Now it time to show your stuff and to show us that you have a grasp on the character you are creating this writing sample must be a minimum of 250 words but you are more than welcome to do more of course.
A noise catching his attention caused him to turn around. When had one of the invaders managed to breach the walls of the palace? Pain exploded in his abdomen, causing Dexan to look. A glaive had run him through. He looked over at the wielder, even as the Box dropped from his grasp.
Why Lua? was his thoughts, as speech was beyond him. Darkness engulfed him........
Pain exploded through his right shoulder, as Tristan woke up to find himself on the floor. He wished that he had gotten a Japanese styled room with a futon, instead of one decorated in Western style. However, he had not been asked as to what kind of room he would have preferred when he checked into the hotel.
With a sigh, Tristan climbed to his feet, rubbing at his sore shoulder. He looked over at the time, and knew that with as late as it was that there would be no more sleep. Sighing, he started going through his morning routine. While he started a pot of hot tea, and showered, Tristan wondered at the nightmare. It was one he had from time to time throughout his entire life. Usually, it only plagued him once a year. However, since his arrival in Japan, Tristan had yet to get a full night's sleep. He went over to the window, and looked over at the palace made of crystal. Something about it tugged at him, and made him feel unsettled. Again, he wondered why he decided to come to Crystal Tokyo, like he had every day since he made the decision to come.
A knock sounded on the door, pulling Tristan's attention away from the view of the palace and away from the window. He made his way over to the door.
"Who is it?" He asked, in his American accented Japanese.
"Room service with your breakfast, Ashton-san, per your request yesterday evening." A slightly muffled voice spoke through the door. Tristan opened the door, to allow the person to enter.
"Thank you." Tristan bowed his head. He went over to the table where his meal had been placed, and watched as the staff person departed. Breakfast smelled wonderful.
